Description

This course will help you learn what it's like to have a radio in one ear, full control of your push-to-talk mic, a script (or two) that can change during the show and more. This is nothing like other voiceover. You'll need to learn:

  • Energy and tone
  • How to say names - and to practice
  • How to keep from emphasizing one nominee over another
  • Endurance - these are long events
  • What to expect in a dry tech rehearsal and more....

Prerequisites

Beginning VO or equivalent experience.

NOTE: Class is 5pm PST/8PM EST. This course will teach you about the modules most commonly used for voice actors as well as how to dial them in and when to use them. You'll also learn how to use the module chain, how to use the spectral view to your benefit, and how to customize the keyboard to optimize your workflow.
